Established in 1975, The North Shore Tennis League (NSTL) has been extremely successful in bringing men, women and children together to enjoy the great sport of tennis. We strive to nurture the competitive spirit in all our players and to encourage good sportsmanship. Our goal is to promote tennis as “the game for life”.

North Shore Tennis League runs for 26 weeks from mid-September through April with playoffs for the top 4 teams extending into May. The league offers 8 weekday Women’s teams of varying levels, 2 weekend Working Women teams, 4 Men’s teams and 2 Mixed Doubles levels. All teams consist of doubles tennis with the exception of the Boys and Girls teams which also include singles.

Some clubs require tryouts to determine their teams. Often those tryouts are held in May and June for the season that begins the following September.

Our league consists of players from many communities north of Boston and beyond. Participating clubs include:

Bass River Tennis Club - Beverly
Cedardale Health & Fitness - Haverhill
Boston Sports Clubs of Lynnfield - Lynnfield
Boston Sports Clubs of Lexington - Lexington
Boston Sports Clubs of Andover - Andover

Newburyport Racquet Club - Newburyport
Northeast Tennis Center - Middleton
Westford Racquet & Fitness Club - Westford
